locals taking the commuter train from Norfolk to London's Kings Cross station in London were joined by a beloved monarch recently.

The report states that the journey took an hour and 40 minutes and would normally run about £54.90 for the first-class ticket, which is nearly $80.

READ MORE: <a took the train the Duchess of Cambridge arrived back to London by that more modern contraption known as the helicopter at a reported rate of £3,000.

The crazy thing about this story is this is hardly the first time Queen Elizabeth has opted for far less royal transportation.

The Eastern Daily Press reports on similar journeys in 2014 and in <a shows what a queen boarding a train looks like:

##

You didn't think you would have your mind blown when you woke up this morning, did you?

Essentially, the good Queen is the kind that enjoys a folksier trip back home. Heck, we imagine the 89-year-old holds bridge tournaments on the train as well.

If you are in the London area and find yourself on the train, tell the Queen we said hi.
