On Wednesday, SeaWorld Orlando announced that it would be ending its long-running Blue Horizons dolphin show and replacing it with a new immersive show dubbed Dolphin Days, which is set to debut April 1.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the purpose of the new Dolphin Days show will be to educate the audience about dolphins and showcase the bond they share with their trainers. The show will also have interactive elements for younger visitors.
The show will highlight the personalities of the Atlantic bottlenose dolphins at SeaWorld Orlando, as well as informing guests on how the animals must be protected in the wild. In addition to the Dolphins, Macaws and other tropical birds will be featured in the show.

The final performance of the Blue Horizons show, which lasted 11 years at the theme park's Dolphin Theater, will be March 31.
For fans of SeaWorld Orlando, it's going to be an exciting year for additions to the amusement park. Not only will the Dolphin Days show debut in April, but the facility is also teasing the opening of a new Dolphin Nursery this summer and adding virtual reality to its Kraken roller coaster and debuting Electric Ocean nighttime spectacular later in 2017.
