Behold the great traveling baby of 2016.

Now we don't mean to make you feel inadequate as a traveler, but there is a 17-month-old baby out there who is putting your collection of passport stamps to shame. Shame we tell you.

The Daily Mail introduces the world to the adorable baby Esmé who has seen a wide swath of the world so far-not that she will remember much of it.

As reported, Esmé started her journey to parts of Asia, Australia and New Zealand when she was 10 weeks old.

Being that she is an infant, it makes sense that Esmé decided to take her parents along for the trip.

Those parents would be the quite adventurous Karen Edwards and Shaun Bayes who decided to use maternity leave as an opportunity to do some traveling, completely ignoring the fact that there was an infant in tow.

Apparently, Esmé is beyond her years as a traveler, because the journey has been a rewarding one.

And the parents now have their own blog at Travel Mad Mum along with the appropriate social media channels to tout their budding family's adventures.

The brave Karen spoke to MailOnline about the impetus behind the baby travels: "I was thinking about maternity leave and decided I'd like to take her traveling. Both Shaun and I were keen backpackers before I fell pregnant and everyone thought we were completely nuts when we said that we were going to take Esmé when she arrived. She was really well behaved and because she was small, it was easy enough to keep her in the harness when we were on the move. We have no regrets, she got to experience new sights, scenes and smells as she grew and that is incredible. The only time I felt Esmé was missing out was not having much socializing with other children."

Continuing the sentiment of no regrets, Edwards states that there is absolutely no reason you new parents can't enjoy the whirlwind ride of world travel.

She continues with MailOnline: "People say having a child ruins traveling, but it really doesn't. Obviously there were times, like at night in the hotel room when you fancy a beer and the baby is asleep, and when you crack it open she wakes, that makes it harder. But it's worth it. You can still do everything, including snorkeling and diving, but you just take it in turns. I can't imagine having spent my maternity leave any other way."

As you can see, having a baby on board while on holiday turns you into a master packer rather quickly.

This should receive some fair share of adulation from you parents out there who cringe over the tiniest flight with a newborn, knowing well that at any moment the screams of youth could drown out those normal airplane sounds.

These two parents found a way to take a moment in their life when most would shun travel and instead decided to embrace it.

From the looks of it, their family is all the better for it.
