Universal Studios Hollywood has announced its 2026 Universal
Fun Fest Nights will include the debut of ONE PIECE: Grand Pirate Show.
Inspired by the success of the Universal
Studios Japan production, the live stunt show will take place at the
WaterWorld show venue that runs for 12 nights from April 23-25, May 1-3, 7-9
and 14-16.
The show is set against a backdrop reimagined at Midori
Island, a mysterious outpost from the world of ONE PIECE as the Straw Hat
Crew—Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji and Chopper are in search of rare Pop
Greens, a powerful resource on the island.
Their exploration goes awry when the Marines storm the
island, raising the stakes with a dramatic entry, blasting open the gates and
igniting intense pyrotechnic and high-energy battle sequences under the
watchful gaze of guests seated in surrounding bleachers.
Comedic interactions ensue when rival pirate Buggy crashes
onto the scene, intent on claiming the Pop Greens as his own. The 20-minute
live stunt show finishes in a triumphant celebration and daring escape giving the
audience the sensation of being transported to the very heart of ONE PIECE,
enveloped in friendship, freedom and mayhem.
Universal Fan Fest Nights is an after-hours, separately
ticked event celebrating the world of fandom through immersive and interactive
in-world experiences that also includes:
- Scooby-Doo Meets The Universal Monsters:
Mystery on the Backlot: an all-new immersive walk-through adventure that
navigates portions of Universal’s world-famous outdoor film sets.
- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—Forbidden
Forest: A Search for the Hippogriff: a unique walk-through experience that
takes guests into the depths of the Forbidden Forest with guidance from a
Hogwarts professor.
- Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon the Miracle: Moon
Palace Chapter Deluxe: a Japanese language CG anime short film in the
DreamWorks Theatre.
- DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: Secrets of Waterdeep:
a fan-favorite immersive walk-though experience with new enhancements.
- SUPER NINTENDO WORLD – Colorful Yoshi
Celebration: a vibrant, multi-colored celebration in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD.
Tickets are now on sale with a variety of offerings
available.
