YouTube channel Insider introduces us to some wonderful sights captured by social media of South Africa’s gorgeous Boulders Beach.
As you see from the following video, the beach boasts residents that will make any trip that much more special.
We are of course talking about penguins.

First, here is another closer look at what you can expect with a visit to this unique locale that offers a close look at the local wildlife.
These animals need our help. The website notes: “The Boulders Penguin Colony was established in 1983 and numbers increased from surrounding island colonies to bring breeding numbers to 3’900 birds in 2005. Since then, there has been a decrease. The 2011 figures sit at around 2,100 birds at Boulders Penguin Colony.”
Overfishing and habitat destruction are just some of the noted reasons the penguin population has suffered over the last few years.
We can’t think of a better place where you can appreciate the wonder that is a roaming penguin population while also enjoying the beauty of the South African coast.
