October is not only a good time to travel, but it's also a good time to book upcoming travel. Travelers Today has rounded up some of the details with a look at some of the best deals available in October.
"October is not only the best time to go shopping for clothes, toys and wedding items; but also the best time to splurge with exclusive travel deals," says Joana Dyan Ordonez of Travelers Today.
Dyan Ordonez notes that off-peak deals are best in Europe and the Caribbean.
You can pull together big savings on cruises, hotels and airfare if you consider booking this month," she advises.
For example, Dyan Ordonez points to several deals from cruise lines and OTAs available now.
"If you book a cruise with Norwegian from now until the end of October, you can pick one, two or five free on-board amenities," she suggests.

Viking River Cruises also has some stellar deals.
"For the whole month of October, that is from Oct. 1 - 31, 2016, travelers who book a 2017 Viking River Cruise can save a total of $1,000 (or $500 per person) on their international airfare," writes Dyan Ordonez.
Another great deal is a stay with Hyatt Ziva.
"From this Oct. 1 until Nov. 30, you can save up to 55 percent on selected Hyatt Ziva all-inclusive resorts in places such as Jamaica, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta," says Dyan Ordonez.
