Earlier this year, Avoya Travel rebranded its Mastermind Academy program and its August event, onboard the MSC Seaside wrapped in August with great success.
Forty agents attended the event, which took place August 18-25, 2018, which was hosted by Tammie Richie, associate vice president of the Avoya Mastermind, who has more than 35 years of travel industry experience and more than 30 years as a sales and business coach.
Attorney Ken Richie was the guest speaker onboard. Richie is a partner at Holland & Knight and was named one of the Best Lawyers in America-Litigation-Construction, 2018.
Sessions included discussions on how to develop a persuasive personality for sales, reduce liability in regards to unhappy clients and social media, potential tax benefits, effective listening, how to increase closing Leads, effective communication, agency metrics and succeeding with sales systems.
The next Mastermind Avoya Mastermind Success Academy will take place onboard the Harmony of the Seas October 20-27, 2018.
In November and December, Avoya is offering its Mastermind Ultimate Success Academies. Ultimate Success Academies feature more advanced content and are designed for independent agencies that produce between $500,000 to $5 million-plus in annual sales. The sessions include unique content that is designed to assist agents with suggested strategies for continuing individual growth, determining how and when to expand businesses and refining the independent agencies' brands.
These courses are 10 days long and offered onboard the Azamara Journey on November 10, 2018, and onboard the Oceania Riviera December 9, 2018.
