Nexion Travel Group and Tern have formed a partnership that enables the host agency’s advisors to access Tern’s operating platform.
Tern’s operating platform, which includes preferred pricing for Nexion’s advisor members, features “AI-assisted itinerary building, client payment authorization, commission reconciliation and group travel management, all in a single platform that advisors own and control,” the technology company said.
“We’ve always believed that the best way to support our advisors is to give them what they need to succeed, not just as travel sellers, but as business owners,” said Nexion Travel Group Vice President of Business Operations Laura Bjorne. “Tern is the technology partner we’ve been looking for to help us deliver on that.”
The Tern platform is available to the full complement of Nexion’s 6,000-plus advisor members, who can access it through AgentMate, the host agency’s member portal.
“The best advisors are out there building real businesses,” said Nexion President Jackie Friedman. “Our job is to make sure they have the support structure to do that well.”
“Partnering with Tern is about giving our members the technology infrastructure that matches the ambition they bring to this industry – without asking them to trade their independence to get it,” she added.
“What Nexion has built is why we get to exist – a community of advisors who are serious about the long-term trajectory of their business, backed by an organization that feels a deep responsibility to equip them properly,” said Tern Co-Founder Katie Williams.
“This combination of principled host advocacy and purpose-built technology is not a workaround – it is the model we believe wins for advisors in the long run.”
