If you plan on visiting the south side of Mexico's Baja California peninsula anytime soon, there is no shortage of resorts or activities to strike your fancy.

From adventure to ultimate relaxation, to art to farm-to-table dining, this hybrid beach and desert town has it all. That's including a unique climate, unrefined beauty and architecture, while its close proximity to California makes Los Cabos a quick and easy getaway for West Coasters.

Need help deciding where to stay? We have all the answers.

Cost-Effective and Creative Hotel El Ganzo

If you're into a hotel stay that's innovative and different in all the right ways, Hotel El Ganzo is the place for you. Affordable, hip and artsy, all 70 rooms at El Ganzo have super comfy beds, iPads, tubs and showers, as well as organic bath products.

The hotel is situated on the marina and, indoors and out, you'll find murals and graffiti by artists in residence along with a rooftop infinity pool, sushi bar and monthly concerts under the stars (check the website's calendar for scheduling). This cool locale also has a basement recording studio-you'll never hear the same song play twice in a week, whether you're in the lobby or on the roof-and serves sustainable, farm-to-table cuisine at its restaurants.

There isn't a beach directly on the property, but El Ganzo has a boat that shuttles between the hotel and its private beach club, Ganzo de Playa, for guests wanting to take a dip or practice some paddle boarding.

New and Exclusive All-Inclusive Krystal Grand Los Cabos

Just ten minutes by car from downtown San Jose del Cabo, Krystal Grand is close to everything-though you may not want to leave the property once you've arrived.

With 454 rooms, eight restaurants and five bars, Krystal Grand was designed for couples, families and groups. It's kid-friendly-the Kids Club doubles as a babysitting service if parents want to visit the spa or participate in a waterfront yoga class-but also boasts adults-only pools and the Sky Lounge, perfect for people-watching from above while the sun sets and the clouds turn from blue to orange to a cotton candy pink.

A beach cabana is a lovely spot to lay out and catch up on a good book. Though food and drink service is not available on the sand, the pool bar is close enough that you can grab a margarita and some tacos on your way down.

Super secluded on a breathtaking cliff overlooking the Sea of Cortez, the 24-acre (mountainside and oceanfront) Resort at Pedregal is accessed by the only privately owned tunnel in Mexico.

Want a 50-minute massage? Try 180 minutes. At the property's Luna y Mar spa, you can indulge in a Calming Moon treatment that commences with a rose-oil infused salt and rose petal scrub. It ends with a relaxing rose crystal lymphatic facial and massage.

Dining at Pedregal is particularly special-El Farallon offers the most coveted dining experience in Cabo and serves only the most delicious, locally-caught seafood over ice. Signature cocktails are best enjoyed overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and the setting at this luxury hideaway does not disappoint.
