AAA Travel Announces New Four and Five-Star Hotels, Restaurants

AAA Travel announced that two hotels and four restaurants in the Dominican Republic, United States and Canada are the newest additions to the organization’s Five Diamonds list.

In April, several properties earned the prestigious AAA Five Diamond designation, the highest rating for offering ultimate luxury and leading-edge cuisine. AAA Inspectors verify the four Cs of AAA Diamonds: cleanliness, comfort, cuisine, and consistency.

AAA added the following restaurants and hotels to its Five Diamond list:

• Emeril’s, New Orleans, Louisiana  
• Jungsik, New York, New York 
• Le Hatley Restaurant, North Hatley, Quebec, Canada 
• Mandarin Oriental Boston, Boston, Massachusetts 
• Mugen, Honolulu, Hawaii 
• Raffles Boston, Boston, Massachusetts  

With the newly added properties, there are currently around 140 Five-Diamond hotels and 60 Five-Diamond restaurants. AAA Travel also awards Four-Diamond Ratings, with 1,700 hotels and 500 restaurants on the list.

Eight hotels and one restaurant received the AAA Four Diamond designation this month:

• Amar, Boston, Massachusetts 
• Dreams Flora Resort & Spa, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic 
• Hilton La Romana, Bayahibe, Dominican Republic 
• Hotel William Gray, Montreal, Quebec, Canada  
• Manoir Hovey, Relais & Chateaux, North Hatley, Quebec, Canada
• Margaritaville Island Reserve Resort Cap Cana Hammock, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
• Margaritaville Island Reserve Resort Cap Cana Wave, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic 
• The Stavrand, Russian River Valley, Guerneville, California 
• The Wall Street Hotel, New York, New York
