Aqua Hospitality and Aston Hotels & Resorts will now operate under the Aqua-Aston Hospitality banner, the Hawaii-based hotel management company announced on Monday.
Kelvin Bloom, president of Aqua-Aston Hospitality parent company Aqua-Aston Holdings, Inc., said, "With the integration of two experienced hotel management companies, we believe that our rich expertise developed during a combined 80 years in the industry will greatly benefit our owners, guests, employees and travel partners."
Matt Bailey, president and chief operating officer of Aqua-Aston Hospitality, said that developing a new identity was a natural part of the integration process that began a little more than a year ago.
"Operating under the Aqua-Aston Hospitality banner, we now have a new look and have further differentiated our five brands," Bailey said. "We want everyone to know our biggest strength: that we offer a robust portfolio of hotels for all."
Aqua-Aston Hospitality, which operates under Interval Leisure Group, includes five brands: Aston Hotels & Resorts, Aqua Hotels and Resorts, Lite Hotels, Instinct Hotel Collection and Maui Condo & Home.
Aston provides hotels, condominium resorts and villas in Hawaii and U.S. mainland locations, with an emphasis on delivering "the comforts of home, away from home."
Aqua specializes in design-savvy, upper midscale hotels across Hawaii for an "active, playful experience."
Lite Hotels is the group's economy brand, catering to the budget traveler by aiming to deliver good value for money.
Instinct Hotel Collection-formerly known as Monogram-focuses on "distinctive experiences and personal service."
Maui Condo & Home is the group's extended-stay brand, which not only offers a comfortable place to reside for long periods of time, but also focuses on delivering an authentic experience that accurately represents the islands.
Aqua-Aston Hospitality currently manages more than 50 properties in Hawaii, the U.S. mainland and Guam.
