Autograph Collection Hotels, one of Marriott International’s 31 distinctive hospitality brands, has just made its entrance into the popular Southeast Asian destination of Thailand with the opening Madi Paidi Bangkok, Autograph Collection.
The Autograph Collection Hotels brand presents customers with a carefully curated portfolio of distinctive, luxurious independent hotels, and is particularly known for having thoughtfully and beautifully restored many historic properties around the world.
The Madi Paidi Bangkok is a stylish new urban boutique hotel situated in the Thong Lor neighborhood of Bangkok’s Sukhumvit district, a fashionable creative enclave filled with ultra-hip clubs and trendy bars, restaurants and lifestyle shopping centers. located in the heart of the city making it a convenient hub for exploring the city of commercial hub at the heart of the cosmopolitan Thai capital.
Specifically, the new hotel is nestled along a peaceful, tree-lined residential street called Soi Pai Dee Ma Dee (Soi Sukhumvit 53), which runs parallel with Soi Thong Lor (Soi Sukhumvit 55). It’s situated just a short distance from the Thong Lor BTS skytrain station, which provides easy access to the entire city. Suvarnabhumi International Airport is a 30-minute drive away, while Don Mueang International Airport is about 40 minutes away by car.
Madi Paidi Bangkok’s overarching design concept embraces the juxtaposition between of its location’s relaxing, residential charm and the lively vibe of the adjacent Thong Lor district. Sitting along a leafy avenue, the exterior boasts a linear elegance, with slatted timber siding, a verdant roofline and a little copse of its own out front.
Interiors were also inspired by contrasting aesthetics and ideologies, creating spaces where Eastern meets Western, and classic meets contemporary. Its 56 guest rooms and suites are rich in character, and articulate a variety of unexpected stories through their art and décor elements. The palette of guest rooms was borrowed from some of Thailand's precious gemstones: topaz, sapphire and emerald.
Guest rooms’ various hues are tied together through the inclusion of auspicious "chalew" woven bamboo symbols to wish every guest good luck and a safe journey. Room sizes range from 96 to 168 square feet, and include a living area with a sofa, large LED TV, bathroom with rain shower, and other amenities, like 24-hour room service and a premium coffee maker.
