Boutique Barbados resort O2 Beach Club & Spa has joined
luxury travel advisor network Virtuoso’s product portfolio, said Patricia
Affonso-Dass, CEO and group general manager of Ocean Hotels Barbados.
Inclusion among the organization’s 2,300 preferred partners
in 100 countries will enhance the Barbados resort’s profile among luxury travelers, Affonso-Dass
said. Virtuoso agencies generate $35 billion in annual sales, making the
network “the most significant player in luxury travel,” said Affonso-Dass.
“We are proud to be a part of the select group of
all-inclusive resorts approved by Virtuoso, offering distinguished experiences
to our guests,” she said. “We look forward to collaborating with Virtuoso
advisors to create unforgettable memories for their clients at our special
Caribbean island paradise.”
O2 Beach Club & Spa’s membership among Virtuoso’s
preferred partners gives offers the property “direct relationships with the
world’s leading leisure travel agencies in North and Latin America, the
Caribbean, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East,” according to O2
Beach Club and Virtuoso officials.
Additionally, partners “are able to market to Virtuoso
clients via network vehicles and to Virtuoso agencies through multiple
communications channels and events, including Virtuoso Travel Week.”
Virtuoso’s preferred partners “specialize in world-class
client service and experiences [and] provide superior offerings, rare
opportunities and exceptional value for Virtuoso clients,” company officials
added.
02 Beach Club Barbados opened in 2021 as a contemporary all-inclusive
luxury option featuring high-quality gourmet dining and service excellence reflecting
the island’s warm hospitality.
The resort features three swimming pools, including one of Barbados’
only rooftop pools, plus six dining options and seven bars. The 5,600-square
foot full-service Acqua spa, offers panoramic ocean views from its 8th-floor
location and includes what company officials say is Barbados’ only Hammam
treatment room.
