Disney Vacation Club opened the doors to its newest resort Monday, introducing Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
The club's 14th resort boasts more than 180 rustic and luxe accommodations, including deluxe studios, villas and waterfront cabins inspired by the Pacific Northwest and the American transcontinental railroad.
Copper Creek is accessible via a short water taxi ride from Magic Kingdom Park and will offer convenient bus access to other Walt Disney World attractions.
"Anyone who's ever stayed at a resort property at Walt Disney World or Disneyland understands that it's a fantastic place to stay, not only because of the proximity to the parks but the level of service. Copper Creek takes this to another level," said TravelPulse Executive Editor Mike Schottey, who was in Orlando for Monday's opening.
"It's perfect for a brief stay or a weeklong getaway for parties up to 12. The studios, villas and cabins are places where you can truly live and be at home."

Guests will also have access to the amenities at nearby Wilderness Lodge, including the newly-opened Geyser Point Bar & Grill, Roaring Fork, Boulder Ridge Cove Pool, a sports court and BBQ pavilions, among others.
"Copper Creek Villas & Cabins offers members and guests a uniquely designed and exquisitely appointed home base for their Walt Disney World vacation, and it is truly a gem in the growing Disney Vacation Club portfolio," said Disney Vacation Club Senior Vice President and General Manager Ken Potrock in a statement.
"This resort offers the best of everything, including immersive theming, accommodations in a variety of sizes to suit any type of family, high-quality amenities and the ideal waterfront location that is just around the river bend from Magic Kingdom Park."
The deluxe studios can accommodate up to four guests, while one- and two-bedroom villas will provide space for larger groups and families. The resort will also offer three-bedroom grand villas.
The 26 Cascade Cabins will be located along the waterfront and feature two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Capable of sleeping as many as eight guests, the cabins will house expansive kitchen and living areas as well as screened-in wrap around porches equipped with built-in hot tubs.

An indoor/outdoor fireplace adds to the allure.
Speaking with Disney Vacation Club personnel, Schottey points out that "travel agents can find a tremendous value for their customers at Copper Creek because guests are within close proximity to the parks and are staying at a top-notch resort."
