Seven Disney Springs Resort area hotels in Florida's Walt Disney World Resort are extending special room rates to U.S. first responders this summer.
The "First Responders Rates" are available to police officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians (EMT), paramedics, 911 dispatchers, doctors, and nurses.
The rates are available for stays May 28 through September 15, 2018, at the following hotels:
-B Resort & Spa-rates from $89 per room, per night
-Best Western Lake Buena Vista-rates from $125.99 per room, per night
-DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando-rates from $125 per suite, per night
-Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace-rates from $147 per room, per night
-Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista-rates from $111 per room, per night
-Holiday Inn Orlando-rates from $99 per room, per night
-Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista-rates from $82 per room, per night
The rates do not include the resort services fee or daily parking fee (if applicable), taxes or gratuities and guests must show the appropriate supporting ID upon check-in.
Benefits of staying at one of the seven Disney Springs Resort hotels include advance tee times and discounts at all Walt Disney World Resort golf courses, access to on-site Disney merchandise stores and the ability to book advance dining and dinner show reservations for all restaurants across the resort.
Guests staying at one of the seven participating hotels will also receive the 2018 Disney Springs Passport booklet featuring discounts and specials. Plus, guests with theme park admission can link their hotel reservation on MyDisneyExperience.com to make FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to arrival.
What's more, guests taking advantage of the special rates this summer will be among the first to experience the new 11-acre Toy Story Land, which is scheduled to open at Disney's Hollywood Studios June 30, 2018.
Other upcoming highlights include the Incredible Tomorrowland Expo at Magic Kingdom Park (May 25-September 3, 2018) and the Guardians of the Galaxy-Awesome Mix Live! Concert Series at Epcot (June 9-August 19, 2018).
Nearby Disney Springs, which is within walking distance of the aforementioned hotels, is home to more than 130 shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
