Disneyland Hotels Completely Sold Out Ahead of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Opening

Disney's new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is generating tons of buzz, with all three Disneyland hotels selling out of rooms just days after the themed land's opening date announcement.
According to SFGate.com, Disneyland's three official hotels—Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Paradise Pier and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel—are completely booked up ahead of Galaxy's Edge's May 31 opening.
While some of Disneyland's partner hotels farther away from the park still had availability as of late last week, experiencing Galaxy's Edge at opening will require a bit more work for guests not staying at an official Disney hotel as they must purchase a Disneyland ticket and then reserve no-cost entry between May 31 and June 23, 2019.
Guests staying at Disney hotels will automatically receive a reservation to Galaxy's Edge. However, beginning on June 24, guests will no longer need a special reservation.
The highly anticipated themed land is scheduled to open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida on August 29.
The demand for Galaxy's Edge has been so strong to this point that Disney has decided to open the expansion in phases, with the initial debut featuring an immersive set of events and attractions highlighted by the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run ride as well as galactic food and beverages, merchant shops and much more.
The second phase will open at both parks later this year and will include the launch of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which will put guests directly in the middle of a battle between the Resistance and the First Order.
