Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has unveiled plans for an all-new private jet experience scheduled to take flight in early 2021.
The luxury hospitality company has had tremendous success since launching the industry's first fully branded and customized private jet in 2015 and is now seeking to further enhance the in-flight experience.
Four Seasons will fully customize a new Airbus A321LRneo aircraft with a variety of luxurious amenities to provide guests with a more modern, enriching and interactive flight experience, the company announced Tuesday.
Built to replace Four Seasons' current aircraft, the new jet will feature the widest and tallest cabin in its class as well as a spacious lounge area encouraging socialization among passengers. The plane's 48 custom handcrafted leather seats designed by Optimares will be complemented by new purpose-built personal ottomans inviting interaction and comfortable face-to-face connections.
The new space will also host interactive workshops led by Four Seasons artisans, including master chefs, mixologists and wellness experts, among other aficionados. What's more, the lavatories are being expanded and upgraded to reflect a more residential style.
In addition to an onboard Four Seasons Executive Chef preparing journey-inspired menus, the flight's dedicated Four Seasons staff will include a Four Seasons Concierge, Director of Guest Experience, physician and Four Seasons-trained in-flight crew.
"When designing the new Four Seasons Private Jet, we were inspired by the glamour and prestige of air travel in times past, when every flight was a special occasion," said Dana Kalczak, Four Seasons Vice President, Design, in a statement. "With a laser focus on comfort and functionality, our aim is to create an environment that encourages spontaneous social interaction between everyone on board, reinforcing the power of connection."
"The Four Seasons Private Jet experience defines modern luxury air travel, encouraging meaningful connections between people and places while delivering a seamless and highly personalized journey," added Christian Clerc, President, Worldwide Hotel Operations, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
"Building on the tremendous success of our Private Jet program to date, with consistent sell outs, waitlists, and near perfect guest satisfaction rates, our drive to continuously innovate and push the conventional limits of travel has led to this new opportunity to experience Four Seasons like never before."
Four Seasons said that all-new itineraries aboard the new private jet are currently in development and will be announced later this year.
