Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the official opening of the Grand Hyatt Barcelona, the first urban Grand Hyatt property in Spain and only the brand's fifth hotel in Europe.
Located in the exclusive Alta Barcelona neighborhood, the property offers 465 guestrooms featuring Art Deco-inspired design, including 49 signature suites and a penthouse.
Grand Hyatt Barcelona will offer guests four dining venues, including Maymanta, a Peruvian restaurant on the 19th-floor rooftop overlooking the city. Sofia Bar & Tapas serves a unique blend of Mediterranean cuisine and tapas paired with signature cocktails that guests can enjoy from an exclusive terrace.
Guests will find coffee, pastries, fruit and salads at the boutique Philosophia, which boasts an open-air terrace overlooking Avenida Diagonal and the Alta Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Leña, a steakhouse led by renowned Michelin Chef Dani Garcia, is slated to open later this year.
Wellness seekers can kick back at the Oasis Spa by Natura Bissé to enjoy an 807-square-foot pool and waterfall, a Turkish steam area, a sauna, and private cabins for signature treatments in addition to an exclusive cabin area with its own hot tub, Turkish bath and sauna.
Other amenities include an outdoor pool equipped with a terrace, sunbeds, a pool bar and a restaurant and 22 meeting rooms with more than 35,000 square feet of event space.
