Grand Opening for Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Sandals Resorts International (SRI) announced the opening of its 18^th and newest all-inclusive Caribbean resort, Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The 301-room beachside property features a mountain backdrop and offers “built-in programming” that celebrates the destination’s botanical gardens, according to SRI officials.

The resort will introduce new Sandals dining concepts including Buccan, a large-format experience designed to “[create] conversation and connection over locally harvested food roasted in an open hearth.”

Other features include a 300-foot linear pool that connects to the resort’s lobby terrace. The poolside passageway is lined with cabanas, three additional adjacent pools, and lush landscaping.

“Sandals Saint Vincent unveils a little-known wonder we are proud to bring forward, not only for its show-stopping beauty but for the warmth and grace of its people,” said Adam Stewart, SRI’s executive chairman. “There is a joy here that pulses throughout and beyond 32 incredible islands.

The resort’s accommodations are highlighted by Vincy Overwater Two-Story Villas, which come with dedicated perks including exclusive reservations at Buccan. The property’s Beachfront Villas offer a tranquil retreat just steps from the sand and Caribbean Sea.

Resort suites feature elevated amenities, including a dedicated media room and private pool. a personal fitness room with exercise bikes and yoga mats and a library of fitness classes. Sandals’ butler-level accommodations feature premium services and “memorable moments,” said SRI.

On-site activities include guided kayak excursions and bike riding through the resort’s winding gardens and trails surrounded by indigenous flora. Also available are interactive classes and tastings highlighting the archipelago’s rich agriculture, from aloe vera to local mango and breadfruit.

Resort artisans engage in soap-making and the creation of handmade jewelry. Vibrant festivities take place every evening, from sunset parties on the beach to rum-sampling experiences and movies under the stars.

Off-site, a wide selection of adventure activities is available, from journeys to towering waterfalls, to volcanic black-sand beach excursions to SRI’s unlimited scuba diving program.

Guests can unwind post-adventure at the resort’s Red Lane Spa, whose soothing surroundings are the backdrop for treatments that harness the natural minerals found in volcanic sand.
