Just
in time for that time-honored summer tradition—the great American road trip—Hilton
is offering limited-edition Hilton Honors packages
that celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
And
the best part? They’re available for just 250 Hilton Honors points each—including
gas and stays at Hampton by Hilton
properties. One even includes a Jeep Grand Cherokee to keep. Just 12 lucky
Hilton Honors members will receive the packages, available on a first-come,
first-served basis on the Hilton Honors
Experiences platform starting on May 26.
“In
this milestone year celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, the
open road feels especially meaningful—and Hilton Honors is proud to put our
members at the center of it,” said Mark Weinstein, chief marketing officer,
Hilton. “Through Hilton Honors
America Experiences, we’re offering once-in-a-lifetime moments for just 250 Points,
honoring the timeless American tradition of road trips, shared discovery, and
the kind of spontaneous adventures that happen when you pile into the car and
see where the journey takes you—with a great stay along the way that helps you
focus on what matters most.”
The
Hilton Honors guest loyalty program is free to join, and the 250-point redemption
price is intentionally accessible. Members can earn that many points with just
a single night’s stay at a Hampton.

their skills at one of the country’s largest fishing tournaments with this

day on the water.
- VIP (Very Important Pickle) at the
Picklesburgh Festival: A pickle-packed weekend in Pittsburgh in mid-July,

More Hotel Rooms Than
Any Other Brand
Hampton’s 2,400 locations
in the U.S. make it the perfect road-trip hotel brand, noted Shruti
Gandhi Buckley, senior vice president and global brand leader for Hampton by
Hilton. At a Las Vegas press event celebrating American road trips
on May 14, Buckley noted the convenience that Hampton offers. When traveling on
major U.S. highways, the nearest Hampton is no more than 30 minutes away, on
average.
“There’s no better brand
when you think about being on the road,” she said. “Hampton has more rooms than
any other hotel brand in the world.”
In fact, Hampton started
42 years ago as a roadside economy brand in Memphis, Tennessee, noted Buckley, before
evolving into the brand that created the upper-midscale hotel category.
The brand’s service
culture—which it calls “Hamptonality”—helps make it a “trusted home base that
families—including their four-legged companions—can count on at the end of a
long drive,” said Buckley.

Star-Spangled Waffles
One of Hampton’s most
famous brand standards will also reflect America’s 250th birthday
this summer. Starting on May 25, Hampton properties across the U.S. will offer the
limited-edition Star-Spangled Berry Waffle, combining berry-flavored batter and
berry toppings with red, white and blue sprinkles.
“Not only was Hampton
the first brand in the upper midscale category to actually introduce the
complimentary hot breakfast, we were the first to bring the waffle to it,” said
Buckley. “And over time, that waffle became very symbolic of our Hamptonality
culture.”
So when clients hit the
road this summer—even if they’re not lucky enough to secure one of the
250-point Hilton Honors America packages—they’ll be reminded of the nation’s
birthday celebration over a hot breakfast at one of the thousands of Hampton
properties along U.S. highways.
“As the country marks its
250th anniversary, we are proud to play a role in a
once-in-a-lifetime event that feels authentic to Hampton’s legacy as a trusted
stop on the road,” said Buckley. “Wherever the road leads this summer, Hampton
is here to provide the comfort, convenience and welcoming service that make
every mile easier.”
