The Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort, which was closed for repairs in the aftermath of Hurricane Odile, is back in business following completion of the first phase of a multi-million dollar enhancement project.
"A beloved seaside retreat for more than a decade, we are proud to reopen our doors with a far superior product and the exceptional service standards our guests know and love," said Tim Booth, the resort's general manager.
On the food and beverage front, the Azul lobby bar has been transformed into a tequila and mezcal bar. The resort also added the Mio swim-up bar, serving healthy snacks and juices, and La Onda beach bar, for beer and ceviche.
Two restaurants, El Meson and Madero, have reopened with new culinary concepts. El Meson now offers more farm-to-table and fresh seafood entrées, while Madero now boasts casual poolside options fusing American and Mexican cuisine.
The resort's 375 rooms and suites have been significantly enhanced, and now feature hand-painted murals.
In August, the resort will introduce club-level accommodations, with the debut of La Vista Club. The exclusive enclave will offer members-only amenities and 65 rooms and suites with large balconies, hand-crafted furnishings and marble bathrooms.
In the fall, the property will unveil a completely revamped 7,000-foot spa with, among other things, 15 treatment rooms, three pedicure stations and four manicure tables. Work on the facility is scheduled for completion in September.
Still in the works are a gourmet restaurant and enhanced Cabo Kids Camp.
