Hilton is spreading its massive portfolio.
The hotel giant is planning expansion and
renovation that will further cement its footprint within the lodging industry.
That includes a first mainland Europe
opening for one grand and a fifth continent for another.
New Openings
The Hilton Garden Inn in Bangkok is
already open. It is located on the banks of the Chao Phraya Rivera and one of
the ways it can be accessed is cool, since you can arrive and depart by water
taxi.
Technically, this is a new opening at the Beach
Village at The Del and Shore House at The Del. LXR Hotels & Resorts will
expand its West Coast footprint with the addition of Beach Village at The Del
and Shore House at The Del, located within San Diego’s legendary Hotel del
Coronado, one of the most famous resorts in the United States dating back to
1888.
There will also be new openings in
Nashville (The Printing House Hotel); the brand’s first property in North
Carolina, Tempo by Hilton Raleigh Downtown; a Homewood Suites by Hilton, also
in Raleigh; the Hilton Frankfurt Gravenbruch in Germany; Hampton by Hilton
Grayston Sandton marks the brand debut of Hampton by Hilton in Africa (Johannesburg);
overlooking the River Nile, Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi will be located within five
kilometers of Cairo’s most popular attractions; in December comes the Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown; on
the coast of the Red Sea is the DoubleTree by Hilton Mangroovy El Gouna; and
perhaps the most anticipated opening will be the Spark by Hilton Stuttgart
Sindelfingen. This opening will mark the entry of Hilton’s premium economy
brand to mainland Europe.
Renovations
The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Salt Lake
City Downtown has completed an extensive renovation, including a
redesigned atrium, lobby, guest rooms, fitness center, and indoor pool. All 241
rooms are suites.
Renovations are completed at Hilton Bali
Resort, including an adults-only seaside lounge.
There are also renovations at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront
in Florida; Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro; the Hilton Washington D.C. Capitol
Hill, one of the most elegant hotels in the nation’s capital; the Hilton Sedona
Resort at Bell Rock; and the Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa.
Hilton also curated two rooms at its Beverly
Hills property in honor of Paris Hilton.
