Barceló Maya Grand Resort is already a legendary destination in Riviera Maya.
As a property that includes Barceló Maya Palace, Barceló Maya Beach, Barceló Maya Caribe, Barceló Maya Colonial and Barceló Maya Tropical, there's something for nearly every type of traveler.
In December 2019, the Barcelo Hotel Group all-inclusive resort complex is adding yet another offering, the Barceló Maya Riviera, an exclusive, new, adults-only, all-inclusive property that will make Barcelo Maya Palace one of the largest resorts in the Riviera Maya.
The luxe escape, part of a $250 million property expansion, will offer such noteworthy features as hot tubs on all guest room balconies, 110 swim-up suites, junior suites and double beds or super king options for all guest rooms.
There will be 850 spacious guest rooms at the property overall, more than half of which include ocean views. Guest rooms also feature some of the latest in hotel technology, such as smart locks available through a smartphone app.
Those who opt to stay in the property's Premium Level rooms will get even more luxury and exclusivity with unique services.
Yet another important highlight-Barceló Maya Riviera will feature five restaurants. The dining options include four specialty restaurants and one buffet offering.
The diverse array of cuisine will range from Mexican (with a "Tacoyaki" bar) to French fine dining, Italian and Japanese (including 10 Tepanyaki tables and one Robatayaki table for fireside cooking).
Additional amenities include five bars, four pools, U-Spa and a gym.
The crown jewel of the new hotel will be its convention center, which is the largest and one of the best in the Riviera Maya and has a capacity for up to 7,000 people.
"Barceló Maya Riviera is set to reshape the region's hotel and convention offerings," said Stefania Ballotta, director of Sales & Marketing at Barceló Maya Grand Resort. "We can't wait to share this new property with our valued guests and event planners."
