Australia's Mantra Group has launched the world's first Pokemon Go-friendly hotels.

The group revealed Friday that it's using Pokemon Go Lures to increase users' chances of catching a Pokemon at either one of its hotel bars in Sydney and Melbourne.

"Pokestop By Our Bar" will kick off at 3 p.m. local time every Friday in July, at which time gamers can pick up a free bowl of fries with any drink purchase at Mantra 2 Bond Street in Sydney and score discounted happy hour drinks at Mantra on Little Bourke in Melbourne.

Like many other businesses, Mantra has quickly recognized the unique benefits of the latest craze.

"Our Mantra is 'knowing what matters' to people, and it's pretty clear from the popularity of the game that playing Pokemon Go matters to millions of people all over the globe," Mantra Group Executive Director Marketing and Digital Matt Granfield said in a statement.

"We're always keen to find new and innovative ways of making our hotels great places to stay, so helping our guests catch a few extra Pokemon during their stay was a no-brainer," added Granfield.

According to Mantra, Pokemon Go already has more daily active users than popular social media website Twitter since launching last week. What's more, one in five Australian Android users have downloaded the game since its launch, according to Similarweb.

The Mantra Group manages and markets more than 125 hotels and resorts across Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia, representing the Peppers, Mantra and BreakFree brands.
