Marriott Bonvoy and SpringHill Suites by Marriott have entered into a multiyear agreement with the U.S. Soccer Federation, which will provide a generous number of benefits for fans attending such events as the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Team matches and the SheBelieves Cup.
“Through its array of best-in-class hotels, Marriott Bonvoy and its SpringHill Suites by Marriott brand will unite our fans through enhanced travel experiences while also aligning with some of our most important organizational values, like growing the game, investing in grassroots soccer and women’s empowerment,” said U.S. Soccer Federation Vice President of Partnership Development Dan Gaiman.
Marriott Bonvoy, in conjunction with the U.S. Soccer Federation, is supporting the SheBelieves platform, which is “a movement to encourage young women and girls to reach their dreams, athletic or otherwise,” Marriott said.
SpringHill Suites, whose portfolio of upward of 500 U.S. and Canadian properties can accommodate up to six people in each suite, is ideally suited for families and other groups traveling to sport-related events.
Soccer fans will also be able to take advantage of the benefits and rewards offered by the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program and the U.S. Soccer Federation’s U.S. Soccer Insiders program.
Fans will be able to “gain access to player-focused custom content that will highlight behind-the-scenes moments, including training, games, and travel experiences during USWNT and USMNT camps,” the company said.
“We’re excited to partner with U.S. Soccer to elevate soccer fandom to a whole new level through unique benefits, and by increasing accessibility of the sport at the community level,” said Mandy Gill, Marriott International’s vice president, continent marketing for the US and Canada.
