The seventh annual Luxury Travel Advisor Awards of Excellence have been announced and Playa Hotels & Resorts won big, collecting two Awards of Excellence. The top travel advisors in the country voted and selected Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall (Montego Bay, Jamaica) as the Top Caribbean Hotel Opening in 2015 and Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos (Los Cabos, Mexico, pictured above) as Top Mexico/Central America Hotel Opening in 2015. The two Playa Hotels & Resorts properties were honored at Luxury Travel Advisor's Ultra Summit, which took place in Dana Point, Calif.
Each year, through its Awards of Excellence, Luxury Travel Advisor strives to recognize suppliers that create lasting impressions. As part of the decision making process, the publication's advisory board, an invitation-only panel made up of influential travel experts, hand-selects nominees from a range of travel products. Luxury Travel Advisor then looks to its travel advisor readers to determine Awards of Excellence finalists.
