Preferred Hotels & Resorts added 13 new member properties in the fourth quarter of 2023, in such destinations as Costa Rica, Italy, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, Equatorial Guinea, the Dominican Republic, Canada and the US.
A handful of highlights include Azul Hotel & Retreat in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, which is enveloped by jungle and beach. It features 23 accommodations, including guestrooms, suites and villas; two restaurants and a bar; a gym; a pool and a jacuzzi; and a range of like surfing, snorkeling, biking and horseback riding.
The Camp Creek Inn in Inlet Beach, Fla., which part of Preferred has 75 rooms and suites with access to the Watersound Beach Club, the Camp Creek Golf Course and Shark’s Tooth Golf Course, three restaurants, a wellness center, and tennis and pickleball courts.
The Editory Boulevard Aliados Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site set in the heart of Porto, Portugal, is equipped with 68 rooms and suites, an outdoor heated pool, the Ilícito Restaurant and a circus-themed bar.
Other new member properties include the Almar Giardino di Costanza in Mazara del Vallo, Italy; Entre Cielos Wine & Wellness Hotel in Mendoza, Argentina; Grand Hotel Djibloho in Ciudad de la Paz, Equatorial Guinea; Tembo Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain; and SoHo Residences Toronto, Canada.
The new Preferred members also include numerous Catalonia Hotels & Resorts, including Catalonia Santo Domingo San, Dominican Republic; and Catalonia Passeig de Gracia in Barcelona, Catalonia Las Cortes in Madrid, Hotel Catalonia Donosti and San Sebastián in Catalonia in Spain.
