The Daiquiri has been around for decades, but there are few better places on earth to enjoy one of the cocktails than on the beach during a dream Mexican vacation located in the nation's most desired destinations.
To help make the dreams of travelers everywhere come true-even for those who can't make it to Mexico-La Coleccion is sharing some of the best recipes available at its popular resorts for National Daiquiri Day.
Those looking for a Tropical Daiquiri-similar to the one served at The Bar at Live Aqua Boutique Resort Playa del Carmen-should mix 1.5 ounces of rum, 1.5 ounces of passion fruit and 1.5 ounces of sugar in a martini glass.
Another popular option is the Daiquiri Fiesta, which can be found at the Bikini Swim-Up Bar at Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta All-Inclusive & Spa. The cocktail includes 2 ounces of Bacardi Raspberry Rum, .5 ounces of natural syrup, .5 ounces of grenadine and .5 ounces of lemon mixed into a martini glass.
For travelers looking to enjoy a cold beverage with a loved one on this sweet holiday, the Romance Daiquiri at the AKA and EGOS Bar at Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun is just what you need. Mix 1.5 ounces of white rum, .5 ounces of triple sec, 2 ounces of lychee syrup and 3-4 lychees in a martini glass, then garnish with rose petals.
