Savvy travelers know the Mexican region of Tulum is an ideal place for a backpacking adventure, but it has continued to develop into a first-class getaway on the Caribbean coast.
While Tulum is home to some of the world's best restaurants and beaches, the region has lacked high-quality vacation rentals in the center of town for too long.
The beachfront hotels are great, but prices as much as $700 per night can scare away tourists.
To help accommodate travelers, Silk Residences teamed with Riviera Maya Property Consultants to open a seven-luxury apartment condominium at the center of Tulum. Many of the facility's elements were designed by Italian architect Gabriele Fabrizio Sbalbi, who blended local Mayan materials with European sophistication and design.
The condominiums also feature individual dip pools on terraces, a rooftop Jacuzzi, barbecue area, lounging area, bar, modern equipped gym, a common pool and more.

Each condo is equipped with two bedrooms while the penthouses feature one bedroom with a large private terrace offering an 180-degree view of Tulum. The Silk Residences condominium is in a prime location, just 10 minutes via bicycle from the beach and within walking distance of the area's best restaurants, shops and bars.
Condominium prices range from $278,850 to $325,700.
