The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin unveiled a $275 million renovation, including a sizeable expansion to its events space.
The renovation, which hotel officials said is the largest such project in the property's history, will also include refurbishments to Swan guestrooms and technology upgrades throughout the hotel.
The guestroom and technology upgrades are set to be completed by year’s end.
The events space project will include the addition of 120,000 square feet of meeting space with a new two-story annex. Groundbreaking will commence in November 2024 and is expected to be completed in late summer 2026.
“The expansion will bring the triplex’s total meeting space to 469,000 square feet between its three buildings, the Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve to go with its 2,619 guestrooms making it one of the largest convention properties on the East Coast,” company officials said.
“The additional space will expand the hotel’s largest contiguous event space to 175,000 square feet, making it among the largest hotel spaces in the country.”
