What’s New at Hilton Hawaii
A visit to Oahu is not complete without experiencing the island’s numerous hiking trails, and guests of the DoubleTree by Hilton Alana – Waikiki Beach can do just that. With Hiking Hawaii Café located in the hotel’s lower lobby, adventurers can experience unforgettable moments like whale watching atop the Makapuu Light House trail overlooking the Pacific Ocean, or embarking on a waterfall hike through tropical forests along the Manoa Falls Trail.
Hiking Hawaii Café also offers an energizing selection of casual dishes and was recently recognized with the LUX Restaurant & Bar Best Vegetarian-Friendly Café Award.
Chef Dayne Tanabe’s updated menu takes fresh, seasonal ingredients of Hawaii and the Pacific in unexpected and exciting directions at Hilton Waikoloa Village’s Kamuela Provision Company. Roasted pineapple chipotle BBQ glazed beef short ribs highlight sweet caramelized pineapple flavors paired with the spice of chipotle and a savory 8 oz. short rib that is braised for three hours.
An elevated and lighter take on the classic Hawaiian dish, the deconstructed Mahi lau lau is served on fresh, grilled mahi-mahi with Molokai sweet potato gnocchi, Lomi Hamakua tomato medley, and taro leaf puree.
Located on the Kohala Coast of the Island of Hawaii, Kamuela Provision Company provides a taste of Hawaii’s farms, ranches and fisheries and seats diners in a spectacular oceanfront setting.
Boasting expansive views of reef-lined Hilo Bay on the Island of Hawaii, Hula Hula’s at Grand Naniloa Hotel, a Double Tree by Hilton boasts a variety of dining spaces for every occasion and a creative-casual menu that highlights local ingredients. The hotel recently took over management of the restaurant, and guests can look forward to a refreshed menu in the near future that continues to highlight local catch, produce and ranching.
Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort repositioned one of their signature bars as Hau Tree Cantina. The updated menu creates a unique beachside dining experience featuring a variety of craft margaritas and mojitos alongside fresh Mexican fare with a Hawaii twist.
Lunch options include fresh catch tacos, enchilada salsa verde, and a cantina salad with fresh local greens, while dinner showcases savory dishes like pan-seared fresh catch with salsa Playera de Lujo, carne asada, and chipotle mojo sautéed jumbo shrimp.
Embassy Suites by Hilton - Waikiki Beach Walk is now offering Premium Suites, a newly-created category of accommodations featuring exceptional ocean views and enhanced amenities. Perfect for families, romantic escapes or group getaways with friends, the Premium Suites are located in the resort’s prime corner units that offer a lanai (balcony) with ocean views and include an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages, local snacks and K-cup coffee selections that are replenished daily.
The resort’s Premium Suites feature spacious accommodations designed and furnished to encapsulate Hawaii’s unique sense of place and inspired by the Native Hawaiian art of kapa, a finely handcrafted traditional Hawaiian fabric stamped with intricate geometric prints.
