California’s Disneyland Resort is getting more expensive as the theme park announced on Wednesday it has raised most of its ticket prices amid a fourth-quarter revenue downturn in Walt Disney’s Experiences division, of which its theme parks are a part.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the price of its one-day, one-park ticket for a less crowded weekday will remain the same at $104 per person aged 10 and up. Yet guests of more crowded weekdays along with those who purchase multi-day one-park tickets will have to pay between 5.9 percent and 6.5 percent more.

The one-day, one-park ticket on a busy day will cost $206 per person, a $12 increase from $194. A two-day ticket will cost $330, up $20 from its previous pricing.

The news comes as travelers and travel advisors everywhere wonder whether the Happiest Place on Earth is simply too expensive for most travelers.

The Walt Disney Co. warned of a downturn in its experiences category, which includes the Disney parks and Disney Cruise Line, in August during its third quarter earnings statement, predicting that due to inflation, travelers would be less likely to spend money on a Disney Parks vacation than usual in the next few quarters.

The park also announced in May that it had reached an agreement with Anaheim to expand its park by 50 percent in a new 40-year agreement that will likely see several new themed areas.

The park is also increasing the price of its Magic Key annual pass program. Currently only open for renewal, the prices for the four passes have all increased $100-$125 each. The lowest-price Imagine Key pass, which previously cost $499, is now priced at $599. Those with the Magic Key pass will get additional perks, such as a bigger discount on the Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
