On Wednesday, an attack near the British Parliament left five people dead and the rest of a nation in mourning.
By Thursday, officials with the Transport for London were doing their part to invoke a spirit of healing, togetherness and strength. Emblazoned across normally boring whiteboards used for announcements were beautiful words to greet locals and tourists alike.

As noted, the above images were captured at the following stations: Tower Hill, Tooting Bec, Oval, Ealing Common, and Tottenham Court Road. The hashtag #WeAreNotAfraid quickly spread across London and throughout the world.
