Stop me if you've heard this before: the northeast United States is dealing with the winter storm effects from a nor'easter, which has caused flight delays and cancellations.

According to FlightAware.com as of 9:30 a.m. ET, more than 1,450 flights were canceled across the United States Tuesday, including more than 800 departing and arriving flights at Boston's Logan International Airport.

Other airports dealing with delays and cancellations from the winter storm include Philadelphia International, Baltimore-Washington International, Ronald Reagan Washington National, New Jersey's Newark Liberty International and New York's LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy International.

The cancellations don't stop Tuesday, either, as Flight Aware is reporting more than 130 additional flights have already been canceled for Wednesday. Airlines are asking customers traveling to or from impacted airports to reach out to their carriers before heading to the facilities in the coming days.

Carriers are waiving change fees and fare differences for impacted travelers that purchased tickets for travel on Tuesday or Wednesday, including major airlines such as American, JetBlue, Delta, Southwest, and United.

In addition, Amtrak announced it will suspend service between Boston and New York City Tuesday for the remainder of the day, due to inclement weather. Service will be restored pending improved conditions.

The most recent cancellations come less than a week after more than 3,000 flights were impacted and Amtrak was forced to abandon routes due to a nor'easter that hit the east coast last Wednesday and Thursday.

As if that wasn't bad enough, the northeast started March with a massive snowstorm during the first weekend of the month that caused more than 2,000 cancellations and left hundreds of thousands of people without power for days.
