On Thursday, a Flybe airline flight made a rough landing in the Netherlands after the plane's landing gear failed when it touched down on the runway.
According to ABCNews.com, the Flybe flight was en route from Edinburgh, Scotland, to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands when the plane prepared to land at just before 5 p.m. local time.
When the Bombardier Q-400 aircraft touched down at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the right rear landing gear failed, and the plane smashed into the ground, causing extensive damage.
There were 59 people onboard the plane at the time of the incident, but no injuries were reported. The passengers and crew members were evacuated from the plane safely and were transferred to the airport terminal.

Airport officials are investigating the cause of the landing gear failure.
"The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew is our greatest concern," Flybe CEO Christine Ourmieres-Widener said in a statement to local media. "We will now do all we can to understand the cause of this incident, and we have sent a specialist team to offer any assistance it can to the investigation."
