For horror fans, Halloween at United Parks & Resorts’ SeaWorld
and Busch Gardens theme parks will be more enjoyable thanks to new haunted
houses coming to the 2026 edition of Howl-O-Scream.
At SeaWorld Orlando, SeaWorld San Diego, and SeaWorld San
Antonio, the new haunted houses will be themed after the Sony Pictures horror
movie, "I Know What You Did Last Summer," marking the first time the
film is being brought to life at a major Halloween event.
Debuting on September 11 at all three parks, the new attraction
will be based on the first installment of the iconic horror franchise and take
travelers through recreations of several movie scenes and into the events that
unfold during the original Southport massacre.
“We're always looking for new ways to raise the bar on
immersive entertainment, and bringing 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' to our
Howl-O-Scream events is an exciting milestone for all three SeaWorld parks,” United
Parks & Resorts CEO Marc Swanson said.
“This thrilling franchise has captivated horror fans for
years with its suspense and terror,” Swanson continued. “Now our guests will
step into that world, facing some of the same heart-pounding moments that made
the film come alive.”

At Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Williamsburg starting on
September 11, guests at the theme parks will be treated to a new haunted house,
dubbed “Anaconda: Fear Has No Escape,” which is based on the Sony Pictures
movie, Anaconda.
Visitors will be sent deep into the world of Anaconda, with
the haunted attractions offering two unique tales while honoring the legend of the
film.
