Tripadvisor Group and Airbnb have announced the beginnings of a partnership that would allow select Tripadvisor Group travel experiences to be available for users of Airbnb to book and enjoy.
The new partnership would allow tours, activities and tickets to attractions to be available on Airbnb’s website and app. Tripadvisor Group offers a catalogue of over 425,000 experiences available to book around the world, through Viator, Tripadvisor and other partners.
The new launch will happen later this year, according to Tripadvisor’s initial announcement.
“Experiences are at the heart of great travel," said Kristin Dorsett, GM of Experiences, Tripadvisor Group. "Helping travelers discover and book the world's best things to do is our focus, and we're proud to partner with Airbnb to bring the world's best things to do to more travelers.”
This could be an effort by Airbnb to round out its new experience offerings, which it just expanded in May, 2026, along with the launch of a new car rental function, grocery ordering capability and luggage storing partnership with Bounce.
