A Disney Cruise Line ship suffered damage after it backed into a pier Saturday.
According to FloridaToday.com, the Disney Dream ship was backing into a port in Nassau over the weekend when it struck the platform at the end of the pier, causing a loud noise and damaging the stern of the vessel.
A Disney Cruise Line spokesperson said there were no injuries in the incident and passengers were not impacted by the collision. While the hull suffered minor damage, employees were on the scene quickly and repairs were made during the ship's stop at Castaway Cay in the Bahamas.

"When we were backing into Nassau this morning, the Disney Dream hit the pier," a passenger onboard named Judi Laplante said on Facebook. "We never felt a thing. Rough seas last night and very foggy this morning, so I'm not sure if those were contributing factors or not."
