Abercrombie & Kent is debuting two new journeys designed to showcase the new Grand Egyptian Museum.
“With the highly anticipated official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum this summer, we are excited to introduce our guests to this extraordinary cultural landmark,” says Suzanne Teng, director of global group product. “We’ve expanded our offering of small group journeys to provide guests with a variety of ways to explore Egypt—and the museum’s breathtaking collections—all while enjoying the exceptional service A&K is known for.”
With the addition of the new itineraries, A&K now offers six small group journeys, plus unlimited options for private Tailormade travel, in the Land of the Pharaohs.
The new itineraries are:
- Egypt and the Nile with Exclusive VIP Experience — October 25-November 3, 2025: The journey is hosted by Amr Badr, senior vice president of A&K Egypt and the Middle East. Guests can enjoy an exclusive welcome cocktail and dinner hosted at Badr’s private residence, joined by prominent figures from Egyptian society. Then, cruise along the Nile for four nights aboard Sun Boat IV, guided by an expert Egyptologist.
- A Nile Cruise for the Holiday Season — December 20-29: This 4-night exclusive charter of Sun Boat III includes a private visit to the Wahtye Tomb at Sakkara specially arranged by A&K, as well as a visit to the new Grand Egyptian Museum and privately chartered flight to Abu Simbel.
The company is also adding five additional departures for “Egypt in a Week,” an itinerary that launched earlier this year. The new dates in September, November and December give guests more opportunities to experience the pyramids of Giza, Luxor’s temples and the Nile aboard the Sun Boat IV.
A&K is also offering several special offers on trips to Egypt. Guests on Pharaohs & Pyramids can save $3,000 per person on the October 9, 2025 departure, while those who prefer to travel privately can receive free internal air on select Private Egypt & the Nile dates. Solo travelers can save 50 percent off the single supplement for select departures of 2025 Small Group Journeys.
