The future of carry-on luggage comes bearing a wealth of gifts.
The latest budding travel tech is G-RO, a carry-on luggage that will roll onto the market shortly with enormous wheels and quite possibly an even bigger impact on the industry.
That's essentially what the founders of the luggage hope takes place as G-RO enters the final throes of its Kickstarter campaign.
As of this writing, the company has amassed over 4,300 backers who have pledged over $1,500,000, surpassing the goal of $125,000 by a substantial seven-figure margin.
With 18 days to go, it's become quite evident that travelers crave some innovation amid carry-on luggage.
Now there are myriad choices when it comes to "smart" luggage. However, you may consider G-RO among the most versatile.

Now you can get in on the ground floor with this big-wheeled bag, which will ship in August 2016. Many of the Early Bird options are sold out at the moment, but you can still nab a G-RO for the $279 pledge with an optional electronic module available for an additional $99.
The base version gives you a bag that boasts of being lightweight, durable and easily movable thanks to its bigger-than-usual wheels.
If you do opt for the electronic module you get the following, via Kickstarter: "A battery with enough juice (23,000 mAh) to charge your phone, tablet and laptop all at once-that's enough power to charge your smartphone 10 (times); a universal power outlet to charge your laptop; a location tracker and a wireless proximity detector."
As far as how much you can pack, well, it's quite a lot:
G-RO aims to be a "companion bag," a traveling Jack-of-all-trades that, with the optional module, answers some of your most pressing concerns.
As you can see from the above video, without the module it's still a versatile luggage option that can meet most any scenario on the go.
The Kickstarter campaign boasts: "We designed it for on-the-go people to be large enough to take on a week-long trip yet maneuverable, durable and light enough for your daily commute."
