Cox & Kings is introducing Luxury Small Group Journeys.
Designed to provide travelers with the same luxury service levels and immersive experiences that guests find on the company's FIT departures, the new journeys will debut this fall, the luxury operator said.
To sweeten the pot for travel agents, Cox & Kings is paying 20 percent commission on all group bookings made by December 31, 2018, for departures through the end of 2019.
Inaugural itineraries for the program, which Cox & Kings said was launched in celebration of its 260th anniversary, will include Peru, Morocco, Japan, China, Spain and Portugal, South Africa and India. New destinations and itineraries will be added throughout 2019 and 2020. Itineraries will range from nine to 15 days, with fares starting at $5,295 per person. Departures will be guaranteed with a minimum of just two guests. Groups will average 18 guests with a maximum of 24 guests per departure, the company said.
"There's high demand from our luxury travel advisors for a premium group product such as this," said Patrice Willoughby, Cox & Kings vice president, sales. "We're excited to be launching these exquisite new products and are happy to offer an industry-leading commission rate to our preferred agents in the U.S."
"Our new Luxury Small Group Journeys celebrate Cox & Kings' 260 years of passion for global exploration and the type of immersive travel that truly enriches our lives," Added Cox & Kings President Patrick Richard. "They enable our clients to book confidently and be assured of an unforgettable experience, all backed by the company's global operations infrastructure."
Earlier this year, Cox & Kings opened a new office in New York City and increased its U.S. sales team by placing three new members strategically across the country. The team is working to bolster relationships within the travel agent and luxury travel adviser communities.
