The solo travel trend has grown 200 percent during the start of the year when compared with the same time in 2022, according to responsible tour operator EF Go Ahead Tours, prompting the operator to offer an expanded Solo-Only portfolio of group trips, ranging from a safari in Kenya to a foodie trip across Spain.
These new Solo-Only tours typically comprise 15 to 28 solo travelers in one departure, except from the Kenya Wildlife Safari trip, which is available for 6-12 solo travelers in one departure.
The new itineraries include the Kenya Wildlife Safari for Solo Travelers, visiting Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Nairobi, Amboseli National Park and Maasai Mara; Spain for Solo Travelers, visiting Barcelona, Madrid and Seville; and Japan for Solo Travelers, featuring Tokyo, Mt. Fuji and Kyoto.
Solo-Only trips include single occupancy rooms, guided tours, group meals, all transportation and transfers, as well as free time for exploration. EF Go Ahead can coordinate airfare, or solo travelers can do it themselves.
The tour operator is also launching a new way to save on Solo-Only tours: the operator’s Solo Travel Flash Sale, going on now through April 13, 2023. All Solo trips will be an extra $100 off during this period.
