G Adventures is offering more itineraries to China, South Korea and brought back trips to Tibet as demand for Asia continues growing, and has also added a new selection of ‘Classic’ trips to its portfolio for 2025 for older travelers.

Previously, many of the trips G Adventures offered in Africa and Central America were open to travelers aged up to 39; now, however, the new ‘Classic’ trips were added as older travelers want more affordable, grassroots adventures.

One of these itineraries is the 32-day Central America in Seven Countries: Mexico to Costa Rica itinerary. The trip, which costs $2,899 per person, goes from Playa del Carmen to San José, visiting Caye Caulker, San Ignacio, Flores, Antigua Guatemala, La Libertad Region, Granada, Monteverde, La Fortuna and more.

“When we looked at the data, we could clearly see the time is right to open up a set of fast-paced, longer, more basic itineraries to an older crowd looking to see and do as much as they can,” said Yves Marceau, vice president of product at G Adventures. “These trips have been traditionally more popular with younger travelers who typically have less money and more time, but we now have a growing segment of customers who are getting older, yet still looking for a more ‘rugged’ and exploratory style of adventure. Our new trips are perfect for them, and the prices can’t be beaten.”

G Adventures is returning to Tibet in 2025 after the pandemic halted visiting the destination. The 12-day Essential Tibet itinerary begins in Chengdu and ends in Kathmandu, beginning at $2,999 per person. The trip offers camping in yak hair tents at the base of Mount Everest, temple visits and scenic trail tours.

The tour operator also launched a new Classic tour to South Korea as popularity for the destination continues to grow, combined with a visit to Japan. The 16-day Korea & Japan Encompassed itinerary begins in Seoul and ends in Tokyo. It costs $6,099 per person and includes stays at a traditional Korean monastery and a Japanese ryokan.
