G Adventures is debuting three new Eastern Europe itineraries, including a highly anticipated debut in Moldova.

Travelers can look forward to the new seven-day "Moldova Discovery," the eight-day “Highlights of Romania & the Danube Delta” and the 14-day “Heart of the East: Romania & Moldova Adventure.”

Moldova serves as a new destination for the adventure operator, and the itinerary will focus solely on that destination. Similarly, the eight-day trip will focus solely on Romania, while the 14-day journey will combine the two countries.

“These trips are a fantastic example of tourism done right – where travelers can have real cultural experiences and build connections with local communities, who are welcoming tourism with open arms,” said Yves Marceau, vice president of product at G Adventures.

“Each itinerary is designed to take travelers to places that don’t experience overcrowding but with so much to offer, from incredible landscapes and wildlife to food, wine, history and tranquility.”

Just some of the highlights of the “Moldova Discovery” tour include Chisinau, for a wine tasting in a limestone cave and a visit to the Saharna Monastery; and Fromage – Made In Moldova, a project that creates chemical-free while supporting families in the Horodiște community.

Travelers will also hike to the village of Trebujeni, experience the scenery and birdlife of the Raut Tiver Old Orhei, an archeological complex included on UNESCO’s Tentative List of World Cultural Heritage; partake in a cooking class to create placinte, a cheese pastry; and visit Gagauzia, with its Soviet-era and Orthodox Christian buildings.

Rates start at $1,499 per person, double, with departures beginning April 18, 2026.

From Bucharest, the “Highlights of Romania & the Danube Delta” trip will explore the Transylvania region, including Peles Castle and Bran Castle, which gained renown from Bram Stoker’s “Count Dracula” novel.

The tour also takes in Romania’s Buzau region, visiting the Berca Mud volcanoes, and the Danube Delta, for a boat ride to the village of Mila 23, which can only be reached by water, and much more.

Rates start  $1,849 per person, double with departures beginning on  April 11, 2026.

The 14-day “Heart of the East: Romania & Moldova Adventure” combines the experiences included the two shorter tours.

Rates start at $3,999 per person, with departures beginning on April 11, 2026.
