Travel Agent Academy and travAlliancemedia are working together to offer the chance to win a free hotel stay in Cancun for those who graduate from the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA) course by the end of November.
Travel agents and advisors who sign up for Travel Agent Academy's USTOA Specialist Program and graduate by November 30 will be entered to win a five-night, all-inclusive stay for two people at Melody Maker Cancun, courtesy of GoGo Vacations.
The USTOA Specialist Program was designed to assist agents and advisors in building their businesses through education on how to sell tour and vacation packages more effectively. The course will introduce users to the USTOA and give them a primer on the diverse tour and vacation packages available through the tour operators.
The program will also educate travel agents and advisors on the benefits that a USTOA certification provides to clients and assist graduates when matching the tour conversation to each customer's needs and more.
In addition to the chance at winning a dream Cancun vacation, agents who complete the course will receive a certificate of graduation as a USTOA Specialist, a listing on the "Find a USTOA Certified Travel Agent" section, two CEU credits from The Travel Institute and four credits from the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA).
The USTOA was founded in 1972 and provides a voice to protect travelers while also representing the interests of tour operators. Members represent some of the top names in travel who keep agents and advisors up-to-date on the changing marketplace of tours, vacation packages, and tour operators.
