Luxury rail line Rocky Mountaineer announced the launch of its new travel agent training program, dubbed TRACKS.
When travel agents and advisors complete the five-module course, they will be certified as a Rocky Mountaineer specialist. TRACKS will educate agents about the Canadian rail company's history, available packages, route options, seasons and service levels.
Rocky Mountaineer will also offer course graduates access to the rail line's support teams, webinars and shareable sales content. The program was launched due to around 80 percent of the company's global sales coming from travel agents.
"We are dedicated to establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our travel agent partners, which is why we developed and launched TRACKS," Rocky Mountaineer managing director Jonathan Hope told TravelPulse. "By better equipping our travel agent partners with the knowledge they need to sell Rocky Mountaineer, they can help us to create life-changing experiences for our guests."
Agents and advisors who complete TRACKS will receive a printable certificate, access to Learning Journeys and an e-logo to display certification. Those who graduate by the end of 2018 will also be eligible to win two, two-day, rail-only GoldLeaf Service tickets from Rocky Mountaineer.
To register, travel agents should visit Rocky Mountaineer's official website for TRACKS.
