ALG Vacations (ALGV) is continuing to raise the bar on Kindness Event initiatives, as evidenced at the company’s fourth annual Kindness Conference and Kindness Connection.
“Building on attendee feedback from previous years, ALGV introduced an evolved Kindness Coaches program for 2026, transforming keynote speakers and workshop leaders into dedicated coaches who remained actively engaged with attendees throughout the week,” ALG Vacations said.
“Rather than leading a single presentation, coaches participated in networking events, wellness activities, and small-group discussions, creating more opportunities for meaningful mentorship and conversation.”
Evolving the Kindness Coaches Program
The event, which drew almost 100 travel advisors and ALGV team members, was held July 13-17, 2026, at Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun, and featured motivational coaches such as Houston Kraft, Spencer West and Joze Piranian, with sessions that spotlighted leadership, resilience, communication and personal growth.
“Rather than leading a single presentation, coaches participated in networking events, wellness activities, and small-group discussions, creating more opportunities for meaningful mentorship and conversation,” ALGV said.
“One of our biggest goals this year was creating more opportunities for attendees to learn from and build relationships with our speakers,” said Jacki Marks, global head of trade sales & engagement of ALG Vacations. “By evolving our Kindness Coaches program, we’ve created an experience that extends far beyond the stage, fostering meaningful conversations and relationships that continue long after the event concludes.”
Giving Back to Local Communities
The heart of the Kindness events is the initiatives that support local communities. The 2026 “initiatives supported Fundación Teletón and Fundación AITANA, two organizations serving children and families facing cancer, disabilities and other critical healthcare needs in Mexico,” ALGV said.
“Prior to the event, attendees and partners contributed additional monetary and in-kind donations collected throughout the week to support both organizations and the families they serve,” ALGV said.
Exceeding Fundraising Goals
Since its inception, the Kindness Events donation campaign has raised more than $10,500, surpassing ALGV’s original fundraising goal by 140 percent.
