Traveling to a different country can always be a risk, especially now with a global pandemic. While Mexico has long been a favorite country for Americans to travel to, some places are safer than others, in terms of both crime and the pandemic. Much of the country is under federal warnings to reconsider travel, but there are a few places where, with extra precautions in place, one can travel to, provided you have tested negative for COVID-19 prior to arrival.
