Whether you are still looking for somewhere to go on Halloween night or are searching for scary October trip ideas, the following places are all great Halloween destinations. Alabama: Atrox Factory

Located near Birmingham, this sprawling space stuffed full of screams is touted as the largest all-indoor haunted attraction in the Southeast. This year at Atrox Factory, you'll walk through over a quarter-mile of terror-inducing twists and turns and might even get to rub shoulders with an actor from Jeepers Creepers, The Walking Dead or TheTexas Chainsaw Massacre.

Fright Nite Haunted House, Anchorage

Florida: Howl-O-Scream

You are spoiled for choice when it comes to Halloween fun in the Sunshine State, with both Universal Studios and Walt Disney World throwing world-class annual events, but Busch Gardens' Howl-O-Scream event is the perfect all-arounder. The scariness returns in full this year, filling the entire Tampa theme park with scare zones, haunted houses (this year sees the debut of the scary mansion Stranglewood Estate and the return of werewolf-infested Death Water Bayou), disturbing live shows and even frightening sights on the park's awesome collection of rides.

Georgia: Netherworld

Hawai'i: Dead End

Idaho: Scarywood at Silverwood

Illinois: HellsGate

Indiana: Fear Fair

Iowa: Sleepy Hollow Scream Park

Massachusetts: Salem

Nevada: Freakling Bros. Horror Shows

New Hampshire: Spooky World presents Nightmare New England

New York: Headless Horseman Haunted Attractions

North Dakota: Horror on Harmon

Ohio: Dent Schoolhouse

Pennsylvania: Hundred Acres Manor
