Walt Disney World is gearing up for its 50th Anniversary in 2021 and has slowly been updating its four theme parks for the event, including changing out signs and renovating entrances. This next year will bring even more changes to the parks in Orlando. But Disneyland, Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disneyland are also aiming to open new entertainment throughout the following year. Check out these exciting new details coming to the parks over the next year.

Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along

Where: Walt Disney World, France Pavilion at Epcot

Expected Opening Date: January 17, 2020

A sing-along created by the producer of both the animated and live-action "Beauty and the Beast" films, Don Hahn, will showcase in the France Pavilion at Epcot in Orlando, Florida. The film will run alongside the current film being played in the pavilion, "Impressions de France," but the new film has hopes of bringing more childlike entertainment to the more adult-centered theme park.

Snow White's Scary Adventure Update

Expected Closing Date:January 6, 2020

While we don't know when exactly the ride will reopen, we do know that it is closing at the first of the year for a "Happily Ever After" ending to be added. 'Snow White's Scary Adventure' has been a staple since the park opened and has only received one update in 1983. The ride is expected to have new technology, music and even updated animations added during this renovation.

Frozen Celebration

Expected Opening Date:January 11 - May 3, 2020

Disneyland Paris is celebrating all things 'Frozen' with their Frozen celebration taking place during the first half of next year. Guests will receive specialty-made 'Frozen' treats and have access to exclusive merchandise. 'Frozen' will even be featured in the daily parade, "Disney Stars on Parade," and even take a top spot in the nighttime show "Magic Over Lake Disney: The Frozen Edition."

Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360

Expected Opening Date: January 17, 2020

Another new film is coming to a pavilion at Epcot's World Showcase-"Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360." This film is set to replace the old film with a whole new storyline and beautiful new scenes.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Expected Opening Date:January 17, 2020

Although the new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge lands at Disneyland and Walt Disney World have been a huge hit, it's the ride 'Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance' that has fans on their toes now. The rumored 15-minute ride will utilize multiple ride platforms and feature the whole cast from the new Star Wars franchise films. Fans visiting Walt Disney World will get to experience the ride in early December.

Expected Opening Date: January 17, 2020

The new film is set to blow guests away with its immersive experiences and space footage which was created by the same group, Industrial Light & Magic, who built the 'Star Wars' movies. The hope for the new movie is that it will not only entertain guests but that it will also leave them with an environmental note to help evoke change.

Disneyland After Dark Events

Expected Dates: January 29 - April 30, 2020

Disneyland is set to open four new After Dark Events this coming spring. With themes like 80s Nite, Sweethearts' Nite, PIXAR Nite and Villains Nite, guests will get to experience the special events with specialty food options, exclusive merchandise and fewer guests throughout the park as these unique events require visitors to purchase an additional ticket.

City Works Eatery and Pour House

Expected Opening Date:January 2020

Disney Springs has been undergoing a massive renovation over the past couple of years with new restaurants, the new NBA Experience and additional shops. The newest of these restaurants is expected to be City Works Eatery and Pour House, set to open in January. With lots of craft beers on tap and an ample selection of bar food, this is going to be the go-to spot for any sports fan.

Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast

Expected Opening Date: Spring 2020

Tokyo Disneyland is currently expanding its Fantasyland with a 'Beauty and the Beast' themed area. This new land inside of a land is set to include the highly anticipated new ride 'Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast.' After footage of the ride was released last December, it was the level of craftsmanship and enhanced technology that really took fans by surprise. The Audio-Animatronics that will be included will be some of the best Disney has ever created.

In addition to the ride, the new mini-land will also include a 'Beauty and the Beast' themed restaurant, popcorn wagon and Village Shoppes.

'Magic Happens' Parade

Guests will be thoroughly entertained by all-new floats and characters in Disneyland's 'Magic Happens' Parade debuting this coming spring. Be on the lookout for new floats inspired by 'Coco,' 'Moana' and even a revitalized 'Sleeping Beauty.'

Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway

Expected Opening Date:March 4, 2020

From the recent opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and the new Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride opening this December to a newly renovated bus station and the opening of the Disney Skyliner, Disney's Hollywood Studios has been receiving a lot of attention lately. Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway is expected to be a truly unique experience, pioneering the way of blending cartoon shorts within the ride. Plus it's the first attraction where Mickey and friends will be the star of the show.

Tenaya Stone Spa

Expected Opening Date:Spring 2020

It's important to remember that Disney is not just for kids. With all that walking around at the parks, you can really find yourself wanting a spa day. Thankfully, the Tenaya Stone Spa is set to open at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The former spa, Mandara Spa, closed in July 2019 in preparation for the new spa. A full list of spa options will be offered and the whole spa encompasses the theme of Californian heritage.

New Show by Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering

Disney Springs is gearing up for the new Cirque du Soleil show that is set to premiere March 20, 2020. The show, about the art of animation, is a collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering.

Fantasyland Forest Theatre

Expected Opening Date:April 15, 2020

This theatre, located in the new addition to Fantasyland at Tokyo Disneyland, is expected to seat 1,500 guests who will be entertained by live performances by Mickey and his friends.

Minnie's Style Studio

Expected Opening Date:April 15, 2020

Minnie's Style Studio is set to open in Tokyo Disneyland's Toontown on April 15, 2020. Here, guests will get to strike a pose with Minnie Mouse and see some of her famous fashions.

The Happy Ride with Baymax

Also part of Tokyo Disneyland's Fantasyland expansion is 'The Happy Ride with Baymax'. Here is where visitors will be paired with their own Baymax or health companion who swings them around through a fun-filled adventure.

HarmoniUS

Expected Opening Date:May 2020

While the new nighttime Epcot spectacular "Epcot Forever" was only ever meant to be an interim show, the short-lived and well-received entertainment is set to be replaced in May by HarmoniUS. This new show will be nothing short of awe-inspiring, with giant floats, pyrotechnics, water features and more. This will definitely be a show you won't want to miss.

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure

Expected Opening Date:Summer 2020

Much like the fan-favorite ride at Disneyland Paris, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure will take guests on a Remy-sized journey through Gusteau's restaurant. In addition to the new ride, the France Pavilion is also opening a French Creperie so guests can get their fill table side or quick-service after joining Chef Remy on his escapades.

Avengers Campus

Expected Opening Date:Summer 2020

One of the most exciting and highly-anticipated openings coming to Disney next year is the Avengers Campus opening at Disney's California Adventure Park in Summer 2020. The Campus will feature a Spider-Man Ride, PYM Test Kitchen (think Ant-Man), heroic encounters, or character meet and greets, and the Avengers Headquarters. Although the Avengers Headquarters is set to open with phase two of this new area, there will still be plenty for visitors to see and do starting next summer.

Disney's Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel

Already taking reservations, the newest hotel for Disneyland Paris will be Marvel-themed. Giving off the ambiance of New York City, this new hotel is only minutes from the park and will feature all your favorite Marvel characters. Guests will even be able to meet some of their heroes at the hotel.

Disney Genie App

Expected Opening Date:Late 2020

Walt Disney World Resort guests are already spoiled by the My Disney Experience app-an app allowing them to check-in to their hotel, reserve fast passes, order food, check wait times and more-but now guests will make organizing their trip even easier. Visitors can choose from tailored experiences that fit their interests-it'll be like having your own travel agent on your phone. And travel agents can even help their clients arrange their trip through the app.
